    Hi,

Just wondering if Adblock.org would ever consider offering some form of “AdSafe” certification for responsible webmasters wanting to ensure users that there site is free from Malware and annoying/overbearing ads? From all the pro Adblock opinions I’ve read there seems to be two points in particular that keep coming through that make good sense from the user perspective: People don’t want annoying advertising, and people want to protect themselves from Malware found in some advertising.

If Adblock.org came up with a set of rules and guidelines for webmaster to follow, and then offer certification with a small button to display on their site for those webmasters who websites pass a verification test. I think this could really help spread the word amongst webmasters that nobody wants to “punch the monkey”, and that it is no longer acceptable (if it ever was) to bombard users with flashing, noisy and just plain out too many adverts. On the flip side it would give users something to look for when browsing a site to see if it is safe to unblock ads without getting bombarded or smacked down with Malware.

Yes, I agree that it would be great if adblock.org had a certification program similiar to that of hackersave. There is definately a need in the marketplace for a service like this.
